Well, it’s not often that I make a total fool of myself. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not perfect, but it’s rare that I start event day with my foot in my mouth. This guy in sweats walked into the venue, still had some stubble on his face, and just walked up and asked if we, the vendors, needed any help. I seriously couldn’t place him, so I said, “Remind me again who you are?” AND IT WAS THE FLIPPIN’ GROOM! C’mon Kate. That was bad. And my recovery was weak. But luckily, Corey was super kind about it and shook it off with a smile. Once I got over my own stupidity, I made sure to do my best to give them the best wedding day ever. We watched rain and drizzle come in an out all day, but eventually determined we could have an outdoor ceremony, which was perfect. The guests loved the unique food stations, and everyone ended up back outside after dark to enjoy a nice cool fall night. Thanks for letting me be a part of such a nice fall wedding….and sorry I fumbled so hard. My pregnancy brain was in full force that day.
