It’s true what they say- time flies when you’re having fun. This became more apparent when Matt and Rachel reminded me that we had been in contact for almost two years. I honestly couldn’t believe it! Matt and Rachel are some of the most fun, down-to-earth, genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. They both have some roots in Madison or attended school here, but were planning from the east coast so having someone in the area to help them plan was crucial. Their day was so beautiful; the simple but colorful wood flowers for centerpieces and a breathy ceremony arch accented the amazing venue space so perfectly. The end of the night was bittersweet for me, because I was so happy for them and their gorgeous celebration, but also sad because I knew our time together had come to an end. Luckily, the caterer accidentally packed up their cake server set, so now I obviously have to fly out to see them and return it!
