What kind of wedding do you get when you cross an art major with a self-proclaimed nerd and have it on May Fourth? This….you get this. Hannah and Derek’s wedding was beautiful and elegant with just the right sprinkling of Star Wars nerdiness to make it fun and personal. The whole day was a contrast of the Dark Side and The Light (the rebellion). With different props, some of the most legit light sabers I’ve ever seen, gorgeous black and white bouquets, and some choreographed entrances, this combination of kitschy and classy was difficult to pull off and they nailed it. As an aside, we have a 4-foot tall storm trooper that lives in our front window (he protects the house) and I brought him along for the day, which was a huge hit. Thanks for a fun and memorable wedding and for reminding me that you can have a quirky wedding and still keep it classy. May the force {of love} be with you.
