This wedding had some truly stand out points for me. Probably the most impressive was the groomsmen’s “speech.” A quartet of self-proclaimed music nerds made up Jackson’s half of the wedding party and instead of a traditional Best Man speech, the four of them got together and composed a shanty ballad, music and lyrics, and sang it a capella with full harmonies, at the dinner reception. It was really incredible. Jackson and Seyenna had no idea they had put this together and it was one of the most awesome wedding surprises I’ve ever heard. Combine this with some gorgeous flowers, a unique downtown venue, a slightly spicy dance floor, and some of the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen on the bride and groom’s faces, this was really a night to remember!
