I really love working with couples who are a little bit older. Not that Jess and Robert are old, by any means, but they’re not 20-somethings. I’ve found, couples that are more “advanced” are really more advanced. They don’t get hung up on the little things, they really know what they want, and their love is somehow different. Like more mature or assured or something. Jess and Robert were so easy to work with and you could tell that they both had the mutual feeling of being the luckiest people in the world that day. The flowers were gorgeous, the bride was beautiful and the speech was dead on when Robert said he was so happy to be surrounded by the most important and best people in their lives. The friendship and family love was so obvious as I had multiple people from the bridal party tell me how much they cared about Robert and Jess and how, even if there was no blood relation, these people would always be family. I hope the merging of your two families makes you both feel like the luckiest people in the world every day of the week.
