It can be really challenging when you’re a self-proclaimed Type A personality to trust someone else with the biggest day of your life. And I am so glad I could be the one to help Aly and Duncan with their special day. These two had all the details covered, from a self-choreographed first dance to custom Scottish tartan vests and pocket squares, plus some of the most beautiful fake flowers I have ever seen, this day was truly elegant and beautiful. To be honest though, my favorite part was the self-written vows, during which the groom acknowledged his bride’s “Type A personality” and was hoping he could help her take it down, “even to an A minus.” That line definitely hit home and I will definitely be trying myself to be a little more “Type A minus.” Congratulations, Aly and Duncan, and thanks for letting me be a part of your A+ wedding.
